Need your Help!

Hey guys,

My little brother's birthday was on the 4th and he got GTA V. There is just one problem; he only has a 4GB Xbox 360. He told me it wasn't a problem because he was going to get what he was told to get my Microsoft, a $130 external hard drive. I, being a PC builder, told him that was crazy. I noticed there was a 2.5 inch hard drive bay on the side of the Xbox. So he went into Best buy and got a 500GB Seagate for $50. I walked him through putting it in and now it doesn't work. I'm heading over there later today and need some help. I don't know the restricting when it comes to Xbox 360 hard drives.

P.S. I don't know if it would help, but I have a Kingston HyperX internal to external hard drive adapter

You need a special xbox bay adapter

AFAIK it only works with Western Digital hard drives, I may be wrong.

Microsoft prohibits the use of most non approved hard drives, that way people are forced to buy the more expensive versions with "larger" drives.
