I've already ordered all my parts they should arrive next Friday. While i was waiting i posted my build on forums and got mostly good feedback but, one thing that a lot of people didn't agree with is my PSU. Read up on it and asked around, a couple people said its fine but the occasional reply of "mine died within hours" or "The fan makes a weird noise" over and over has me split.
So these are my options:
Order a different PSU on Monday and it should get here by Friday with all the other parts and just send back the other one for a refund.
Or Just stick with the one i ordered and hope for the best.
I really dont want anything bad to happen when it can be avoided but if the PSU i ordered is actually good or if you have any suggestions let me know

the psu is perfectly fine, they must have confused it with the older CX which was mediocre in quality.

It's good but if you plan to overclock they are not meant for that, it's the green labels you want to stay away from. If you plan to overclock I recommend a EVGA 650 G2

it's fine for overclocking.

didnt get the i7 just cause my pc is mostly going to be for gaming and a i7 wouldn't over a lot more in performance at least that what i heard

Eh, especially in your case (1080p 144Hz), you would have benefitted significantly from an i7 as opposed to an unlocked i5.

The people who say "i7s don't do anything for gaming and should only be used for video editing!" don't know what they're talking about.
