I am planning a build for myself to use for gaming. The parts are going to be purchased from now until around holidays.

I am new to gaming pc, so this is my first build. Help out a noob please...

 

NO PREFERENCE BETWEEN AMD OR NVIDIA OR AMD AND INTEL… JUST WANT BEST FOR THE $$$$$$

What size HDD is good for you? And do you care about Blu-Ray?

i think the psu is overkill, I'm not going to be crossfire or SLI and I'm not gonna over clock too much, so i don't need the liquid cooler atm

The psu is overkill but it is on sale and it gives you room to upgrade and you can use it for a while. The cooler is air.
