Worth upgrading to freesync?

I'm getting an RX470 and I was thinking about a 144hz monitor for some FPS games, but I don't think my processor is strong enough for 144hz. So I started looking at monitors anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I found this, 3yr warranty, 21.5", 1080p, 75hz, and supports freesync.

also my monitor only manages it to about 66hz overclocked, so I didn't bother.

Is the +15hz and Freesync worth 175$? (after tax and shipping)  (For games like: Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, battlefield~etc)

Personal build >  New-ish AMD main gaming setup

If your hardware isn't powerful enough to surpass your refresh rate then freesync for me would be a must. If you can easily surpass it then v sync would do
