DisplayPort Audio

Since I updated my Nvidia drivers to the newest version (378.49) I don't get any audio to my monitor using the DisplayPort anymore. Audio over HDMI still works on the same monitor. The DisplayPort appears in the Nvidia control panel as well in the Windows panel as working.

Has anyone a solution for this?

Click on the speaker icon on the bottom right of the screen and make sure the sound is coming out of your monitor. Same thing happens to me when I update my AMD drivers.

So apparently I fixed it. Unplugging the DP cable and plugging in HDMI, selecting the HDMI port as the audio source, unplugging the HDMI port and plugging in the DP cable, then restarting the PC and selecting DP as the audio source solved the issue.
Sorry for posting it in the wrong section, I haven't seen the troubleshooting section before
