Hey people,

So I just started using surround mode and have it set up with three monitors, everything is fine except for when I disable surround with the default CTR+ALT+S when I do this the main monitor still works but the ones on either side just go blank, I then have to enable them again via windows display settings. This is so annoying doing it all day, I must be doing something wrong? surely Nvidia don't think this is a smooth experiance.

What should I be doing?

Thank you

NVIDIA Surround is crap, they dont ever bother to fix anything with it. i have 3 screens and it took me less then a day to realize i would never want to touch it ever again. cant run anything but 60Hz, no snapping, shit FPS because 970 lol, and the problem you just described. i hate it and i just run it as 3 separate screens instead, works better for 99.9% of the things i do

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

So how would you turn them into one big display for gaming?

i dont bother. its nicer to play at good FPS on a 77Hz display then at 60fps medium settings on a huge as 60Hz display. if i wanted to use it as one big display id either use the shtty surround or i would put the game in windowed mode and stretch it across all 3 screens if it allows for that(Minecraft for one allows it). lots of games UI gets super messed up at 5760x1080(CS:GO is a good example of that) and quite a few just refuse to run at 5760x1080 and only displays on one screen anyway.

I play fps on one screen but I enjoy rpg games on triple monitor set up. But I did lots more research and looks like I'll just have to put up with rubbish nvidia control panel like everyone else.
