Is the GT 730 the best gpu for my pc ?

jakey

so apparently the only cards that will fit my pc are single slot low profile pcie 2.0 cards, so out of all the cards that fit that description is the gt 730 the best ? ive seen some people recommend it in other peoples posts about similar systems but just want to double check before I buy one.

P.s. I know I should upgrade my whole pc or do some weird external gpu setup but no I'm not doing either, so no need to tell me to :-)

Forgot to say that I have a 220w psu so yeh....

The lowest I would go is the RX 460 2GB, 1050 2GB or 1050Ti 4GB. Please don't get the 730 it's a waste of money.

I think the GT 730 is slower than the integrated graphics chip in AMD APU, or even slower than the intel HD 630...

I think the only reason they sell it is for you to use the extra ports at the back....

Zotac 1050 Ti Mini works/fits great in almost every case. What's your case?

if there is no way around single slot low profile (short pcie bracket) cards, i recommend you change other things first.

from the owner of a GT640, these cards are not worth their money new, you get better performance per dollar buying a new case and a 750Ti than you get buying a 730 on its own.

They don't need extra power, they all run off PCIE power unless you get a factory overclocked one with a custom PCB.

csgo I get 35-40 fps with igpu on low settings so even if a card only gets me 60-70 fps that's x2 what I get now

Motherboards can't produce power out of nothing

The Gaming X is factory overclocked and has a custom PCB, so you'd expect  that to have an extra power connector for that however if you get one that has got no factory overclock and one without a custom PCB they don't need extra power.

Buy the gt 730... Then burn it. Get a low profile rx 460 or gtx 1050
