Now I am not a display nurd, and I've been seeing this 720p60 all over the place for youtube. What's happened to the 1080P GIVE IT BACK! On a serious note, what's the additional 60 for? Fps? Because if it is, then it's wrong for youtube because to me it's more like 30...or less...

720p60fps needs about the same bandwidth as 1080p30fps so a lot of youtubers downgraded for that because their audience can't watch 1080p60fps anyways. 60fps is just smoother, just like its smoother in games. you can check the actual fps in video statistics if you don't believe it. also if the recording is in 30fps but uploaded at 60fps than it just repeats a frame (i think, not sure) so it could be something like that.
