Intel 2600k Having coil whine??

I have a computer that utilizes an Intel 2600k OC 4.1GHz,

But it has this odd coil whine to it.

I got it about 4 Months ago. It was working fine then.

Any suggestions?

Turning the voltage or clock speed to stock then kick it up to 4.0 ghz see if that works?

Are you very definite its the CPU?

It might be my 500w ocz psu.

Idk Let me turn down the clockspeed and see if that works

CPU's don't coil wine, it's something else in your system.

It will not be the CPU. I'm thinking the overclock may have caused coil whine on the mobo around the socket area

Feel free to message me if you want to chat!

Yeah turning down the voltage and multiplier helped a little, But it still has a little noise to it, Its probably the mobo.

I think it's the PSU or the MOBO.

Can you give us the full spec list?

I think I fixed it now,

Running at 4.0GHz with no sound.

I'll post back if it starts doing it again.

Probably your H80i, pumps on hydro coolers can sometimes have a tendency to buzz.
