I don't which category to put this is in... but I need some help. How can I get my tv to play pictures and video, like a lot of shopping mall do with advertising. I need to be able to have a picture, and then I need to be able to put text under it. It also needs to switch between different pictures. How do I do this?

Make a slide show then play it through a computer.

Anything. Google Sheets (free, but more limited), Microsoft PowerPoint (Paid, but more full featured).

Yes. You can use chromecast to mirror your pc. Some smart tvs also have this feature built in.

Or you could get an Intel Compute Stick, which would be way easier than Chromecasting.
