What is the cheapest vr ready prebuilt pc you can buy? I'm not so good at building pc and I would want something that would be able to play vr games.

I'd build myself. It's not hard at all and prebuilt often included components you never heard of. Also building yourself is cheaper

If you're in the US you can check out servermonkey.com and get a refurbished workstation.  Depending on their stock (and they are way popular) you may need to call if you want to do dual CPU and the unit you're looking at requires a 2nd CPU and heatsink.  You can probably get a Dell T7500 with dual XEON hex core 2.9GHz CPUs, & 32GB of Registered DDR3 memory for under $600.  Just need to be careful of what video card you want.  sometimes the case is tight for certain video cards.  However, there are a bunch of 4GB & 8GB cards that fit without issue.

Add an SSD or 2 and an OS and you're screaming fast.  I've ordered a bunch of these as budget, power systems.  Get a budget of $1000 and usually $300-$400 can go directly into the video card.

Finding a VR ready gaming computer that's Prebuilt and cheap are not really something you can easily find. The problem is that VR has a fairly high barrier of entry in performance and most "off the shelf" desktop computers are not geared or aimed for gaming.

Those that are geared for gaming tend to be expensive and boutique, since system builders have to make profit off it as well, cover warranties, and keep business running.

thats probably why for gaming computers, the #1 recommendation tends to be "build your own".

You'll likely have to find a decently "cheap" prebuilt and upgrade it yourself with a better video card to achieve what you are looking for.

Agreed, this is why for prebuilt I recommended more of a slightly older server grade system.  Prebuilt inexpensive as a new box is NOT cheap for VR, especially when considering the card.

For $750 US, you're definitely looking at a used/refurbished prebuilt to handle VR.  If you don't need dual CPU, you might find more room in a case, but you're still going to want a hefty CPU.  I'm still recommending servermonkey.com
