  1. 1. LAZER or OPTICAL

    • Razer Deathadder Chroma
    • Razer Mamba TE

tbh, a mouse is imo still something you need to "grope" before making a choice, the hardware and software are essentially to a point where we can configure compensations for the differences the sensors make, but you cant change settings to reduce cramps from holding a mouse you're not comfortable with.

as well as laser's "weird acceleration" as you stated, essentially being predictable enough to compensate against either manually or in software.

i kinda also wanna note that the DPI numbers they've been throwing at our heads are getting insane, my G500 goes up to 5600, which is moving past two 1440p monitors at the flick of a wrist, with 1500 remaining my setting of choice :P

EDIT: actually, if you dont have a "perfect surface", i'd actually recommend laser over optical, because optical tends to react to oddities in the surface underneath, like those mousepads with a calendar on them :D
