laptop gpu under performing

hello everyone 

 

i had this problem a few times over a few laptops now. first thing is i have a 760m and its under performing for some time now. when its brand new it could handel 60 fps on low in gta 5 bow its locked at 30fps or drops lower this even happens on other games like overwatch that is less demanding then gta 5 i did some trouble disabled the igpu did some stress test and the gpu looks fine well its working not sure about if its throttling or not but everything on the hardware looks normal so im complacently lost on whats going on

Have you check to see either the cpu or gpu is thermal throttling ?

well i did it just then it seems to be throttling in aida64 it hit all 100c and restarted itself. if it is i know there is nothing much you can do about it

Open it up and clean it.

sounds like dust, i know you said you already cleaned it, what i'm saying is that you most likely missed some
