I got some problems with Windows 10.

Hello, my name is Josh and I've been experiencing an isue lately with Windows 10. So when I boot my computer I notice it's extremely slow, I check task manager and notice the disk is at 100%, this has not happened until now and I tried multiple tbings, right now I went to troubleshoot and it detected the disk error and right now it's doing it repair and I'm wondering if I'm doing the right tbing. I take any advice, also sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. Thank you for any help.

Can you see what program specifically is using 100% disk?

Chances are your hard drive is dying/dead. You may need a new one. See what the "repair" says when its finished.

Yes, I've checked it multiple times everything is at 0% and system is at 0.1. I don't know why this is happening.

try crystal disk info to see if there are any errors on the disk.

 

Try a check with a antivirus or the window antivirus built in.

How old is your hard drive? They only run for so long. After 5 or so years you are usually running on borrowed time with hard drives.

It's 2 and half years old.

Hmm. If it's broken than it likely mouthfunctoned. If it does end up being almost dead it's worth checking if you can get a replacement. WD offers full replacement of WD blacks witchin 3 years for example.
