First Windows Install on Custom PC

Go to solution Solved by 3 Lions,

Once you turn on the PC you'll have to go into the boot priority on the BIOS and select 'Boot from USB' so it allows the installer to load.

I get there by pressing the delete key right?

Also at what stage do I insert the USB?

Before I change the 'Boot from USB' or after I changed that setting?

just want to make sure, it's my first time

Thank you. Will I need to change this setting later on?

Nope. The way boot queue works is that BIOS/UEFI checks if any device set to 1st priority is bootable. If not, it will continue to next and check that. 2nd should be drive with OS, so booting will continue to that. If you happened to have the USB still connected on next boot, you'd get that same "Press key to boot from USB" for 10s before check continues to next step.
