I finally upgraded my rig(hell yeah). Now it has an AMD 880k, a Corsair VS550, a GTX1050ti OC Windforce, 8GB of ram and the WD Black 500GB.

Because I am still working on a 17" LCD display, I am not able to use the GTX1050 meaning that at this moment I am running on the GT430 and I really really want to buy a new monitor so I can use the GTX at its' full capabilities.

Despite the fact that I live in Romania and ALL the PRICES suck! C'mon.. 19% increase on all the prices because of their taxes? (The GTX would've been around 150$ without these taxes but hey, I live in Romania and I paid 200$ for it. OVER 50$ WORTH OF TAXES!!! PS: I hate my country) Back to topic. Depite that fact I looked for a few decent monitors and Dell came in my mind with two versions.

I am between Dell U2417H(because it's ultrasharp) and the P2417H(because it is fully adjustable).

I would really like to go with the P2417H even though it is not ultrasharp(It doesn't really matter at all because I am not planning to go multiple monitors due to the desk) and the main reason for that is because it's almost 200$; 190 or something around whilst the U2417H is around 225.

Is it really worth the extra 25 for that ultrasharp?(I'm going to use it for multiple tasks, such as 3D modelling, maybe video rendering(I'm not sure yet), Photoshop, university tasks, watching movies bla bla and gaming)

If these two aren't that great, please consider giving me your opinion on what monitor should I buy.

Worth it for the Ultrasharp. They're essentially identical but the panel on the Ultrasharp has 99% SRGB, so colours will be richer because it covers a very large part of the colour spectrum. (99% versus around 70-80%, they give different figures)

idk
