New Graphics Card

I'm wanting a new graphics card. But I don't know what to choose. I have a 2GB and I want to upgrade from 2GB. Any suggestions?

This is my current one:

 

NVidia GT 710 (don't have a link, I bought it at Frys Electronics)

That 1050Ti will be a very good upgrade.

For around the same price, an RX 470 is a better option IMO...

Now I have had a debate about AMD, I use it personally it's worth what you pay. But I was told that it sometimes isn't good for gaming. What is your perspective. I trust AMD. So I may go with the 470 instead.

Well if you say the 470 is better, then I may get it. Never hurts to try new things. I just have a relatively small budget, so I am trying to find the best bang for the buck. Anywhere from 100$ - 200$ is what I got to spend.
