GTX 1060 Bottleneck

Will the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1060 6GB bottleneck my i5-4440 at 3.1ghz?

Btw, im planning to get a ryzen/i5 kaby lake if they decrease the price, but it would be on xmas.

Well, he actually asked whether the 1060 bottlenecks the i5 CPU, not the other way 'round. Seeing as the GPU will run @99% in a vast majority of games with that i5, the true answer is yes.

 

Although if OP meant that whether the 1060 is a good match for the i5, then yes, it's a well-balanced combo.

Most games are GPU intensive, not CPU, that is normal.
