Well, I begin by pointing out I work for ModMic... but

 

If you wanted to pair a ModMic or Boomrpo (check compatibility, adapters are required for most of the suggestions below!) you can pick up some great dollar for dollar headphones off this thread and pair them with an attachable mic.

 

Specifically: Superlux 668b, 681 or EVO are fantastic. You probably want to replace the earpads on them because they're frankly a bit uncomfortable right out of the box.

I've never personally tested the Monoprice 8323, but I trust SSL to give good advice.

 

Paired with a ModMic 4 (48 dollars after shipping) all 4 of these fall in your price range (with Amazon prime). A bit over if you go for the 668 and Brainwavz earpad replacement.

 

It's got pros and cons compared to the HyperX, which certainly comes highly recommended by many. I just want to point out the option. In theory you'll get better audio, but this gives you some extra homework you can do so you can make the right decision :)
