CPU cooler Be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 Temperature question when gaming

I saw a video on the Be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 and I saw the temperatures on idle and on load.  When gaming if a cpu such as the i7 6800k gets up to 80C is that bad?  Should I worry?  If I had the cpu, I would still not buy a AIO water cooler.  Thanks for the help.

depends on voltage and overclock, i hope he doesn't overvolt that can lower the cpus life.

I wouldn't overclock if I had the cpu.

Then it would be hard to reach 80 degrees

The most load was AIDA 65 and it reaches around 73 (those are stock clock since you said you don't overclock)

80°C isn't really an issue. I ran my 3930K for 3.5 years 24/7 at 80±5°C under constant load, and my i7 930 for 3 years before that. I had to replace the thermal paste a couple of times, and the motherboard VRM thermal pads, but other than that no real issues. The 930 and 3930K systems still work fine, although most of the workload is now handled by my i7 6900K at 4.0GHz which sits at around 60-70°C under heavy load.

So you saw a video and not actually have problem with this? It was most likely OC'd and/or running stress test. 80C is bit higher than what dual tower cooler should have under normal loads like gaming. Link to video?
