How to tell my 120hz monitor is displaying 120hz?

Just want to check to see if I missed out anything.

 

Its a BenQ XL2411T. On amazon it says its 120hz but its 144hz on BenQ's website, which one should I run it at?

 

So in video game settings and nvidia control panel I just set them both to 120/144hz and thats it?

 

Connected by DVI-D btw.

 

Any help appreciated!

Set to the highest you can.

120hz with the light boost mod will give you the best performance: http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/

 

I use this mod on this monitor for my main system :) it's the shit!

Either the highest setting or lightboost like @bradscoolio said. I have the Asus 144hz monitor and the 120hz lightboost is so much better then just 144hz.
