What card? When are you building the PC?

G-sync 4k displays are like $800 last I checked, the free-sync one is cheaper, and you can always go for Vega later on to get access to free-sync

I built my pc https://gyazo.com/935fbbf27b2ec5485f6e59c6c3fcf207 currently have r9 280x and gonna buy 1080 ti once it releases. (or vega, depends on price)

If you're waiting for that you're also in line for waiting on Vega lol it should launch around the same time, the 280X does not support free-sync btw, since it's a 7970

 

besides that the money saved could get you a better monitor stand, such as the freedom arm, sometimes goes on sale for $60

Yea I will wait 4 vega too but right now want to buy monitor. 720p hurts my eyes

So then, if you have free-sync, and Vega is any good, you have a 4k capable card with the benefit of free-sync, can't see much reason to get any other monitor

Yes but what about screen quality and colors. That must be considered too.

Reviews are like 5/5 everywhere, it's probably pretty good
