Keys in game lag?

It seems when im playing some minor games, like minecraft, terratech, and terraria (less often in terraria) my SWAD keys have like... a half second or so delay on turning and moving. My laptop is an acer aspire V 13 (16GB Ram, added some that i had laying around)

the mouse seems to work, and when I jump/shoot with space bar, it seems almost instant so there is no lag on the space bar. but when i press any of the swad keys, its seems like there is a half second or so delay before it moves/stops. any way to reduce the lagg? might be input lagg but not sure

Looks like that machine uses integrated graphics, might be related to that.

Do you notice a performance drop, like stuttering or unusually low FPS when that happens?

And is there any point where they don't do that, or is it consistent?

in minecraft, i get over 60FPS, i only see it lagg when im in an area where there is lots going on, in terratech, i think the game is CPU bound, but i get around 45-60FPS, and terraria is when lots of explosions go off or during a boss battle

Are you sure there's no distinct performance drop or stuttering? I remember Minecraft developing a huge amount of lag when the map was busy enough, so that's probably normal, but it always came with noticeable performance drops.

sorry for late reply, but during regular minecraft (survival solo) and multiplayer (the killer game) i see no lagg, except in the keyboard itself. it only seems there is keyboard imput lag for just the SWAD keys
