Keep in mind to add the needed materials for the LGA 771 mod

What's that?

You need to apply a small sticker which changes the positions of some pins on the processor.

It allows LGA775 motherboards to use low-cost used Xeons, which were originally LGA 771.

idk

Hey , so I was wondering if any of you guys know how to build a under 200USD gaming pc? It doesn't necessarily have to be like a really high end thing . Just a pc that can run most games at above 60 fps.

I don't think one can buy a new gaming station with that budget. Consider a good used gaming station.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Swap it out for an i5 2xxx/3xxx, 8gb of ddr3 and something like a gtx 750ti and you'll be set.

But the R7 260 X price 40 RM more than the cheapest 750ti I found on taobao and the 260x gives better performance

Also rather than a i5 I was thinking of going for a G4400

You're just upgrading to a slightly better pentium, it's a sidegrade at best. Get a cheap i5/i7/xeon that fits your socket and get the best gpu with the rest of the money.

Well any recommendations for a xeon that can game and isn't too expensive. I was thinking of also going for a i3-530

To be honest I don't know this was a prebuilt pc

The 750ti power consumption will be safer for your system if you don't know the make and model of your psu. Check the model, just to make sure.
