Jump to content

Open Resource Monitor (it should pop up if you type that in the Start Menu search) and go to the "Disk" tab, then see if someone's using the disk.

 

Otherwise disk usage just means it has something in its queue. It doesn't necessarily mean someone is reading or writing data.

Sounds fine if you're using a HDD on windows 10 or windows 8/8.1...

If i copy something it runs at normal HDD speed as well. How can i fix this?

Interesting, I just looked it up and you are indeed correct. I must have gotten some thoughts crossed a while ago haha.
