Tier 5 PSU so it's not garbage, but when a 500W costs about £43 is it worth buying? I'm interested in the flat 'ribbon' cable design which it offers.

I'm building a PC about £600 so is there any suggestion for a power supply that would suit it? I want to go with a 470/1060 so the power supply would have to be suitable for the budget.

Also don't mean to be nosy here, but your second rig has a Tier 6 PSU

Any tier 3 PSU with 400-500w would do the job really.

I think the Corsair CXM has flat unfixed cables. The fixed cables aren't flat, however.
