Looking for speaker setup

Hey guys im looking for some speakers for my pc i just finished up. Im looking for a pair if powered speakers and a sub. My motherboard has a optical port not sure if i will get better audio off it.

Im looking to spend around $400 US. Will be use for gaming,musicand movies

If you're looking for just a simple 2-speaker and sub setup, I would recommend the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1.

bookshelf speakers right now im just working with a nice size desk in my room
