hello there forum, Im new here so I might not be posting in the right place so I apologize, I have a few questions that require your help!

1) I have a processor intel core i3 530 @ 2.9Ghz, I want to purchase a zotac gtx 1060 mini 3gb. Will I be seeing any sort of performance boost since im currently using gtx 650ti 1gb and due to lack of vram I am experiencing alot of stuttering,

2) I am also in the market for a psu since my current one is just rusty as hell! so is Corsair VS450 - 450 Watt Power Supply a good power supply?

3) Guys I have seen alot of comparison videos and the 1060 is always shown to be better then the rx 470 so guys seeing that my processor is garbage which should i really be buying?

4) Can anyone please tell me a good processor that is going to match my motherboard model ?

5) How does one check his motherboard model?

6) guys very important question this one!!, I have a vga monitor ;'( and the cards always never have a vga port( not the ones I'm interested in ) how can I connect my monitor to the card?

Hope you guys can help, Thanks in advance!

1) I would get an RX 480 4GB if you can spend bit more. It will be fine until you can get a new CPU

2) No it's garbage

3) The 480 4GB.

4) Not much tbh, you would need a new mobo

5) You can use speccy https://www.piriform.com/speccy

6) You can get an adapter to convert VGA to DVI

Upgrade your CPU. You might be able to grab an old i7 for your LGA 1156 socket. They cost like, 50-60 bucks. Then you can spend the money save on something like an RX 470.

1. yes it will improve performace..a lot actually...but the current cpu will also heavily bottleneck a 1060.

2. its a entry level psu...it will get the job done

3. 1060 3gb is better than 470 im my opinion...but you can probably get a rx 480 4 gb at a simillar price which is better than both

4. your motherboard is way outdated..no current gen cpu on the market will fit

you should really upgrade if you want to get full performance out of your 1060

6.  for ports not sure...you have to look into specific 1060 models to find one that supports vga

No, you use a DVI-VGA adapter. Every new GPU I've ever bought came with one, and no new GPU model comes with a VGA port

I'm a fucking AMD kawaii weeaboo desu I have seen the light

i5 6600k EVGA 980 FTW Z170A PC Mate 1TB WD Blue240GB SSD Plus NZXT S340 | EVGA 600b  | Dedotated 8GB

1.you'll still see performance gains, but the i3 will be a bottleneck.

2.no, it's pretty bad. Try for a corsair cx450/550m or seasonic s/m12ii instead.

3.rx 480 4gb isn't much different in price but performs better and has more vram.

4.if you're on a budget i'd find a used i7 8xx or equivalent xeon on ebay, should be pretty cheap(at least the xeons).

5 . Should have the mobo name on the motherboard somewhere, otherwise you can try HWmonitor.

6.you can use a dvi to vga adaptor if the card doesn't have VGA.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

900p? Anything will play 900p. What monitor do you have? If it's a 1080p monitor, just play at 1080p.

Look on eBay and have it shipped to you, CPUs don't cost much to ship because they are tiny.

If it's 900p max res, why isn't your 650 Ti good enough?

Im not sure dude i always have to play AAA titles at  low settings and due to lack of vram i am unable to max out textures and almost always see stuttering

I just bought batman arkham knight and was shocked since the game kept suttering!

thanks for helping me out :D-

You can play GTA on high at 900p on any half-decent card. You might want to second guess that GPU upgrade, stuttering might be an issue with something else.

no I don't get much stutter in gta v i play on normal preset and get 40~50 fps avg
its with games that require high vram like arkham knight, mankind divided, ac syndicate.
