GPU fan making strange noises

My GPU fan (Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti) makes a noise similar to a car revving it it's engine. When the fan speeds up, it makes the noise, and when it slows down it makes it. When it is steady, it doesn't. What is it?

Dust buildup or fan might be out of place but try using compressed air and spray it.

at most u might have to just take the cover off and then fix the fan.

Have you checked temps? Btw my EVGA GTX1070 FTW does that too, it goes to full/high speed and then slows down to the 50% I set it to in MSI Afterburner.

Check is there is any dust or damage you can see. If there is dust get compressed air and spray it and it there is damage maybe return it.

I just got the card a month ago. I don't think it is dust.

How many fans do you have on your case? The card may be getting to hot.

I have one case fan in the back, and a CPU fan, and the GPU has 2 fans. The GPU has plenty of airflow through holes in the side panel. In game it never goes over 50 degrees.

I have no idea then. I would recommend an intake fan at the front or top if possible but other than that i have no idea.
