Very bright headphones ;) Any idea about the sound quality on them?

 

 

well, the mic sounds awful, that much we know so far.

The elites are $250 AUD. The HD598 are $209 AUD

LoL. Australia forces you to get headphones. Love it.

 

Open headphones are the way to go. The ones @MayflowerElectronics mentioned are exactly the list I'd recommend for your price point. You won't be disappointed.
