My First BuiId

AliShakeel

Hey guys,

I am trying to build a PC.

This is my buiId. PIease suggest if something isn't right. I dont understand this;

Quote
  • The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6Gb/s port is disabled.
  • The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled.

I have a question, shoud I wait for Ryzen+Vega....... or go ahead with this buiId...

As of right now I dont have anything to pIay on.

It means when you use m.2 slot one of the SATA drive will not be usable. There are 6 SATA ports on the mobo, only 5 will be usable

SSD is pretty low. 120gb is small. No need for M.2 imo

750w is fine if you decide to add another 1080 down the road, 850w is a bit too much

Founder's Edition are loud, get aftermarket ones

The rest is fine. If you want to wait please do, it's only few months away

 Would not take founders edition.

With the wait or not, it depends how much you want the computer, and how much you can wait. Like, if you wait, you will be able to get more performance for the money, or use less money for the performance. BUT you will then have to wait a while.

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don't just give up.”

The error just means that your M.2 SSD will disable some SATA ports, so the total number of SATA drives will be decreased. Overall a very good build, but other GTX 1080's will have sightly better performance and be much cheaper. I recommend this one: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487244&cm_re=gtx_1080-_-14-487-244-_-Product

You would save almost $100CAD and get better looks (in my opinion) and better performance.

i have

i5-7600k

16gb hyper x fury (2133mhz)

xfx rx 480 8gb rs

asus z270-p

corsair 550w psu

this build is running bf1 at 80fps ultra at 1440p (VSR)

cpu usage at 80%

swap in your 1080 custom cooled card and a bigger psu and swap the board if u want to and this build will be 1 a hell of a load cheaper and 2 the fps difference in game would be like 5 with yr high speed ram and i7
