Upgrading my laptop storage

Hi, I would like to upgrade my laptop HDD (5400rpm, 1TB) to something faster. My top option right now is a Seagate 1TB Firecuda SSHD (Because of the price). I only have one hard derive slot and no M.2 connector. I need at least 500GB. It can be 7 or 9.5mm. Any recomendations?
