980Ti core clock issue

Hello, 

 

I just noticed this thing about my 980 ti's downclocking to hell.

 

In this case. I'm playing WoW on my main, middle monitor. Then whenever I have a youtube video in full screen on any of my left or right monitor, my GPU downclocks to nothingness. The spike just before the downclock happens whenever I put the youtube video in fullscreen. Then it just goes on. It only goes back to normal when I set the video to windowed mode. 

 

Anyone can help?

It's possible that the 980 Ti doesn't sense WoW as enough load...or that it sees the youtube video and downclocks to save power.

 

Other thing you can try is removing the driver using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and reinstall it. Sometimes the driver goes nutty over time (Happened to me).
