It can help, but I don't think it is a fix. Would first try a SSD, prefer both.

Upside from the SSD is that you can use it with another build aswell, but I would not spend to much dosh on your current platform. Your platform is just laggin behind to much for these days top notch games.

I don't know how long you have the CPU already, but maybe you can return it for a refund if you are in a certain after purchase and go for a new platform alltogether. Here in NL we can return bought stuff within 2 weeks for example. With new platform I mean a mobo, CPU and RAM. You can use the rest like PSU and case to save money for now.

I have very limiteds options here as my processor only supports FM2+ and this is the best it can get.

The cpu now is usually at 10% but goes 100% when scanning on malware bytes which I assume is normal but the firefox cpu usage keeps changing. Is that normal???

The only problem is now is BSOD'S and memory usage being 50%

I know, that why I said to not spend that much on this platform anymore for parts you can't take along to a new platform. A horse is still a horse no matter how fast it is, a car will be faster.

Yes usage fluctates. It is not constant. See it like this: your system is very limited, so a real small headroom. Your required running services in windows already eat up 20%  and FF adds 40ish%, it is logic that a extra strain is noticed quickly when some CPU power is needed (when loading a new site for example). Compare this with a system where these ammounts are much lower, a bump of usage for a relative simple task like a browser is then not really noticed because the headroom is way larger. But it still happens.

But are those BSOD new? And what did you change since that happens?
