Recently I upgraded my PC and popped in a GTX 1050TI and the Althon 880k.

When I open it the cpu usage is going crazy and my memory is always at 50%+ like it's the idle process

I open malwarebytes and scan the cpu spikes to 100%

I open firefox it goes from 5% to 60%

I reset my pc for a fresh start and it is STILL happening

I open gta 5 and the processes say that it is taking 50% which is normal but the cpu usage is about 98% and nothing below it is causing that

The attachments below is my "average" usage

There is no exact average as they all bounce everywhere

I have 6gb's of RAM and before upgrading it was fine.

No, CPU usage is going crazy and disk usage has always been like that

Is the disk usage just  a screwed up taskmanager thing, or is he indeed fully used? What is your storage setup btw?

I meant what drives you use, but I see it in the pic. :)

Anyway 6 GB of RAM isn't the most + it seems it is not the fastest. You have a 64 bit OS that already takes up about 2+ GB. So there is not much room left on that part to work with aswell. Your HDD can't handle multiple tasks and is constantly used. Don't know what your old CPU was, but allthough the 880k is no top notch CPU it might be that it can't handle the data it needs well enough, because he has to wait on either the RAM or HDD when it gets demanding. Most likely the HDD.

GTA V is very demanding, so play on low settings if you arn't already. Might help. Also consider shutting down secondary programs that you don't need during gaming to free system resources.

But seems your system in general is doing to much at the same time, what causes a que of tasks that build up restricting the performance. It could cause the RAM to fill up, because it can't offload fast enough and in turn also restrict the CPU from optimal processing stuff.

It could already be useful to try out a SSD and see if it runs better. It will atleast remove some strain from RAM and CPU most likely.

I just got a BSOD which says

"APC_INDEX_MISMATCH"

also before I also had a "Kernal_Security_Check_Failure"

i thought this would be better than that?

The first time I replaced my cpu I think it was fine but the temps were too high so i replaced the thermal paste and now this is happening

Ok first of all 5%-60% on firefox is not that bad, for an athlon cpu, and when you have games open and stuff, make sure in task manager that nothing else except gta v is open.  If steam is open thats fine but nothing else, then send the usages.

What about the antiviruses?

If those are open while you are looking as cpu and disk usage, close them.  Also unless you are randomly downloading stuff, you don't need antiviruses.

I'm doing depth instead of gta 5 since i dont have to downloaded due to me resetting the pc

I'm saying having a bunch of applications open, like antiviruses, will cause usage to go up if you have stuff running in the background.

This is me playing it ingame but the cpu usage is unstable and bouncing around so I cannot get a stable and accurate usage

It peaked up to 60%+ but is the cpu usage ever going to be stable or is it a problem? the disk usage is big as well, as is the memory

Turn your computer off and on, make sure nothing is open then open ONLY THE USAGE in task manager or whatever.

This is the result.

As I said, the cpu usage is going crazy and there is no accurate answer as the cpu usage is always changing and isnt settling to one percent.

Also I couldn't disable avast so I just disabled the shield on startup

I'd say it's because of the antiviruses.  They boot up immediately when you turn on your computer and are always running in the background, even if you quit out of the app.  If you either reinstall windows as to make sure they are gone or change the settings in them to only allow manual virus scans, this might impact your usages.

I reinstalled windows yesterday with a fresh start.

The CPU, RAM and Memory was still going up an down at idle.

It is a bit better but still not a really good gaming CPU that is ways ahead of what you had for these days standards and needs. But you had temp issues the first time? You forgot the paste? have you checked if the cooler is properly seated? Also make sure it isn't TOO tight since it can give negative results aswell.

I fixed the temp issues using new thermal paste and it brung the temp down 50% which is good.

But the new cooler doesnt work for my mobo as it has screws, not brackets so I used the stock cooler

This is about my cpu usage not my cooler.
