HP ProBook 4520s upgrade

I have the old HP ProBook 4520s

and I want to reuse it beacause I only have desktop and I need a laptop

what upgrades can I do to make it good for some coding

all my usage is coding and internet

no gaming

Max out the RAM if you can and put in an SSD. It may not work the absolute best, but it sure as heck will browse the web.

also install linux  if windows is too slow for you

Even on SATA 2 it will be noticeable. Try Zorin OS Core Linux if Windows is too slow. It's easy to navigate and works well for me.
