Dust and dirt are factors, but if you don't care about those in your case, it's not a big deal.  Just make sure nothing gets in the cpu socket

Only real issue might be retarded amounts of humidity and cold temps.

I'll be building on a desk that I just refinished with a mod mat idk if that will make a difference but ya dust is my worst nightmare so I'll find a way to keep building inside lol
