What psu should I get

My pc part picker https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ thats about the wattage ill need I  use my pc for streaming and gaming and editing what psu should I get one of my friends said to buy on that is twice the amount of wattage that I need so my pc will run supper fast is he full of crap

Without a doubt.

 

It will cause problems (possibly including performance problems) if you have too little power to meet the demands of your hardware, but your components do not run any faster when they have a surplus of power.
