Headphone Upgrade Help

freedirt

Hello I am looking for some new headphones I have been using really crappy headphones for a while and need some new ones, I have budget of $100 to $300 i usually listen to rock sometimes rap and dub step but not very often. I also use my headphones during school so I would prefer closed headphones, can anyone recommend any please and thank you.

Custom one Pros will deliver the bass you want as well as being closed and you might as well throw in a fiio e10 too

AKG K701

Not closed, and too long a cord for good portability.

The COPs are a good choice from Beyerdynamic. Linus likes his Sennheiser Momentums (they come in both over and on ear).

I picked up a pair of these and I really like them.  They look good and fold up fairly small.  They sound nice but if you read reviews, they are more bass heavy.  I like the sound with the type of music I listen to.  The carry case is pretty solid too.  I looked at and tried the Momentums but the over ear were a little over my budget.  Very nice though.
