Ethernet through wall outlet

Don't recall what those are called. Pretty much within 6 months my living situation will be different, and I need my Internet to cover a larger area. Originally I was thinking about just looking into a wifi extender that covered a huge amount of area. Then just now while thinking about it I remembered those one devices where you can plug it into an outlet and plug an ethernet cable into that, then have it come out the other end. Anyone know what those are called and can link me to Amazon or  Newegg listing of relatively affordable ones. I've seen some that have plugins for multiple rooms, I don't need that many. Just need to get from point A to point B.

 

Also wondering if anyone with experience with those could tell me how reliable those are? I know Jayztwocents uses one and said it was better than wifi.

Devolo DLAN. Depending on the speed you need in your Home, you should get them below 100$

 

For example: devolo dLAN 550 duo+ Starter Kit Powerline. They work in my office very well.

 

They even come with WLAN for a bit of upprice, but I havent used them.

then the 500 are more than enough for internet. But you might consider network traffic like file transfer from one pc to another.

I get my Internet through a grandfathered AT&T unlimited data account. Where I live wireless and satellite Internet are the only kinds I can get. Grandfathered plans are literally the only viable way for me to get good interwebs. Used to have a Verizon account until they changed their policy to where anyone that uses over 100gb in a month is terminated, I talked to my Internet guy and switched to an AT&T plan he had. With Verizon I got 35 down on average, and 15up. With this AT&T setup I have much better speed and a lot less prone to lag and drops. I also got a type of modem that has a bunch of ethernet ports on it so I can still have a wired connection to my gaming rig.

Not that brand, but I found this Powerline adapter on amazon http://amzn.to/2iJhmPd

It being well rated, having looked at the user reviews and Q and A's. It also being pretty cheap which I consider good since I'm gonna have to buy another router anyway so that end of the house will have wifi. The second router itself isn't an issue, I can just buy a 40 something dollar one from walmart
