Is Optifine safe for Minecraft? I know there are fake versions out there, but is the real one even safe?

Yeah? I mean it has been years since I've played MC. But back when I played every single person had that mod

Generally with the internet it is always good to practice safe browsing. Meaning don't click on anything fishy, if something redirects you to another page to click on yet again another download button, that sounds really fishy. If there are ads everywhere its pretty fishy. Always try using official websites and reading comments to see if they're experiencing anything bad
