My first gaming PC- Updated

Wumkin

Pcpartpickeruk link: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/qBzqwV

Hello people. I stumbled across Linus' videos a few months back, and ever since have been planning my PC. My original budget was £850 but I managed to keep it under £800.

Please note that I plan to add another RX480 for crossfire.

Feedback would be appreciated, thanks!

Should have said, I'm looking to run Arma 3 and Squad on this

Going off of a suggested list, here's another one https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fJdKNN

Why the reference RX 480?

The PSU is kind of crappy.

That motherboard supports faster RAM, why not?

I mean your build is good too, but if you want something bad ass you could take a look at mine, unfortunately you cant overclock but you still won't be bottlenecked.

I only read the brief parts, cpu ,board ,power supply and he probably won't need a 8gb one.

I mean cheap as in bad power delivery, meaning not exactly strong overclocks. End up blue screening with bad cpu power management or whatever its called.

Your better off having a GPU that overclocks well.  The 7500 is fast enough.

Yeah, I added tho mobo and PSU to support two 480s.  Without crossfire support, I can knock off about 30 pounds.

ARMA 3 is a CPU hog I believe; it is more like a poor user of the available CPU.  No matter the CPU, even an i7 7700K, there might be issues.  A faster CPU will be better for that game, but I can't say how much faster.

You should not have a problem hitting 60FPs if your display is 1920x1080.  Tweaking will be needed, but no matter the PC that will be the case.
