So if not looking at price/performance or price/gb, what wou be the fastest drive on the market for 250Gb~

I see a lot of people recommand samsung 850 Evo, but what about the Pro version isnt it better?

also i heard alot about the pro just bottelnecking because the sata 3 connector.

i also have seen crusial, kingston and sandisk drives for much less money. Will it be so much worse or is it just marketing?

For best value Crucial Mx300 525/750gb is about 75-85% of the speed of an 850 evo and is pretty great n stuff *citation needed*

^ The performance is great for the price I paid for it 130 AUD for 525GB.

Unless you're someone who plays with a lot of data 24/7 and want high sustained r/w speeds then "Pro" tier SSDs are pretty pointless for the average joe/gamer.

MX300 as what has been mentioned or 840/850 Evo.

Or if you have the money then feel free to buy "Pro" tier SSDs such as the HyperX Savage, Samsung 840/850/960 Pro, Corsair Neutron XT, SanDisk Extreme Pro.

Pro it is, money enough and need rock solid r/w speeds with no fails what so ever, raid woud be not a big difrense with Evo or Pro igeuss
