- No Optical drive

- ATX mobo

- don't really care if it has a window or not

- no water cooling (For now)

- just needs to look modest

Maybe the Fractal Design Define S might be something for you, there is a version with a window that is slightly more expensive. However it is made out of plexiglas if I remember correctly, which gets scratched very easily. I personally really like the very 'modest' look of this case :).

What is your budget? Where do you live?

My budget is around £80 and I'm from the UK

In that case, I'd go for a Corsair 400C. It's a 460x but without tempered glass. I was about to get it until they released the 460x.

I love my Corsair 460x. A tempered glass beauty for $120.

I'd say the Inwin 303 is a nicer-looking tempered class case for $80. Also, the Micro-ATX 301 will be cheaper- about $60-70 is where I think it'll land. Those are solid recommendations if OP isn't quite ready to spend $120 on a case.

Well there you go. The Inwin 303 is hard to beat for the money. @Jamie_Taylor_4200- are you looking for a full-size ATX case, or a smaller mATX case?

SO a few questions to narrow your choices down:

1. Do you want to mount an optical drive

2. What is the size of your motherboard

3. Do you want a side panel window?

3. Do you water cool?

4. Any specific requirements?

Hello, I was wondering if any of you guys know a good case for my first PC build?

I would go with a Fractal design C / Fractal design mini C (depending on mobo size). It´s good quality for the price and very easy to build in.

Personally I think it´s worth the extra money for the define C over the define S because it´s easier to build in and feels more robust.
