Current DDR4 ram on new AMD boards?

Ok so im going to be getting my brother a computer soon and was thinking of the new AMD platform. But i wanted to get my self some new RAM as mine is High profile and it doesn't fit under my cooler so it runs with only 1 fan.
But with his i can get a cooler that fits my ram easy so give him my ram and buy a new set for my self.
But basically would my Kingston DDR4 ram thats about 1 year old work on the new AMD platform, I see no reason it wouldn't but thought i would check.

Desktop: CPU: I7-5820K GPU: 980Ti, 750Ti PhysX Mobo: MSI X99A SLI PLUS RAM: 4x4 Kingston DDR4 2400MHz OS: Win10
Storage: 250GB Samsung Evo, 3TB WD Black and Green FIRESTRIKE, Reason for dedicated PhysX Card.
Peripherals: Screen: 3x BenQ VZ2350 Mouse: Razer Naga Keyboard: Some Dell Thing Sound: Razer Tiamat, 5.1 Logitech Surround Speakers
