1440p 60Hz vs 1440p 144Hz

Hey guys, I have a gtx 1070 and i am going to get a 1440p monitor for playing games. But I'm not sure whether to get a 60Hz monitor or a 144Hz monitor. Any reply will be appreciated.

Might as well get 144hz. You will enjoy it a lot when you can play games over 60fps and even when you can't it can still run at 60

Whichever you can afford. People will claim you can't tell a difference but I know I can. I bought a 1440p 165hz and I can tell the difference. It's a luxury not a necessity.

If you have the money 144Hz is better, but 60Hz should not be that big of an issue unless you are used to 144Hz.

the 1070 wil push over 60fps easy in anything at 1440 in my experience with it so far. look for a deal on a 144hz if you can.

A single 1070 will not be able to drive 1440p at 144hz  (in AAA titles)..

Even 75hz to 60hz is a noticable difference.
