Yeah but I wouldn't buy the sound card if I were you.

I  have seen and read conflicting view points on the recon  3 sound card but what I would get is the creative sound blaster z

Might want to take a look if you can get the MSI GD45 or the Asus Maximus VI hero. Those boards have great on board sound aswell. Then you don't have to consider getting a dedicated sound card. 

Incase you really do want a sound card. Personally, I would go for an Asus one. Despite the fact that I have the sound blaster myself, bought this without research done haha. It's not a bad card tho, but.. If I would buy one now, yes Asus!
