I meant a thunderbolt cabel from gpu is going to a thunderbolt card, y?. Cant he use that thunderbolt port directly to the thunderbolt hub? . What does a thunderbolt card do?

For connecting everything from far away.

So he can have one tunderbolt cable carrying all his peripherals, Display, Keyboard, Mouse, and a few extra USBS.
