Windows update screen is stuck

Dear LTT forum

I shut down my Win10 yesterday where it updated. I turned on my pc today and it had to configure the update.

It went from 0 to 92 pretty fast but it has now been stuck on 92% for almost an hour.

Never had the problem before, so any recommendations?

It off tells me I shouldn't turn off the pc but I don't see any other option at this moment.

Did you try moving the mouse around? Sometimes that wakes it up...

Also, did you clean install or upgrade to windows 10?

restart and see what happens. if its same then use rufus to put windows 10 installation iso file on usb flash drive and boot to it. then select repair pc or something like that. and if that too dont fix it then copy boot drive to another drive and reinstall windows.
