Hi every one, well after some research I have decided that I want my pc to be faster and better, I'm also looking to do some game streaming, but still not sure if I should upgrade my actual rig or make a skylake \ kabylake one, something that I really like from games is the eye candy some games can offer,  so I'm looking for a pc that could provide 4k at high settings

this is my rig right now

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7d7yLD

I'm playing on a 4k tv ("you should get a monitor", "you'll get lots of input lag", "imput it's not even 40hz" well i have discussed that before I'm happy playing in tge living room, and acording to some reviews one of the hdmi ports is 60 hz, and if gears of war display stats are correct i have around 14ms response time) (if someone knows where can i test response time let me know)

Upgrading options were to get

i7 4790k

A gtx 1080 (Ti if it comes out somewhere between today and mid February)

Water cool the cpu

And a better psu

Not sure if that would work for streaming and video editing or if should look for something new what do you guys think? What would should I change add or just remake everything ?

If you can find a 4770/4790 for cheap, then get one of those and a new GPU. Getting a K one isn't necessary unless you want to go past 4.3 GHz (or 4.4 on 4790) since Haswell still allows multiplier OC on non-k parts, up to a maximum of 4 steps above its max turbo. You can also base clock oc up to 105 quite stably as well.

The PSU, while not the greatest is totally fine for single gpu usage. The only other recommendation I have is a bigger SSD since 120 is not enough these days I find.

When in doubt, re-format.

He already has the K series one.

the CPU is fine. no bottleneck. just pop in a new GPU and call it a day

He has an i5 and mentions he's looking at the i7. I stand by my recommendations.

Well I'm using air cooling and just gaming on bf1 I'm reaching the 62c temps on a couple of hours, I haven't tried long sessions and if its going to be gaming and streaming I think it might get hotter just too keep it cool

I was looking to upgrade psu in case I go sli later

62c isn't high. You're fine up to 80-90c at load.

You can get a new psu when you decide to get a second card. It's not like you don't already have a psu.

Ok I really thought that reaching over 60c was hot didn't know that

And the psu part sounds right too

don't overlook your internet download and *upload speeds.

You're righ,I'll start by uploading content on youtube to see how it performs, cause according to my provider I have 18mbps download and 3mbps upload, but according to speedtest.net sometimes is faster sometimes slower I've seen the big number during the evening that's when i have the chance to sit and play after work

I was hunting for a good deal on a ssd during black Friday sales, but unfortunately, there was a situation at home that didn't allowed me to use money on that. If I find a cheap cpu as you said then I'll get it, for now I'm concentrating on that gpu.

it blows. 15 is a real good place to start while gaming. a friend of mine has a primo connection and you can tell as soon as you set your machine up and start playing. kill/death ratio changes.
